Education for Tomorrow's Financial Future

Consumers

These days consumers face many challenges that affect their finances and could potentially ruin their financial standing for years to come.

The National Academy of Financial Literacy was founded on the principle that people of all walks of life, professions, and age groups can benefit from the knowledge of subjects such as:

What to do in a financial crisis; what to do if you are facing foreclosure
Identity Theft; how to avoid it and what to do if you suspect identity theft.

This section of our website is dedicated to giving consumers power through knowledge and resources!

Red Flags Compliance / FACTA
National Identity Theft Awareness Day

NAFL is declaring 2009 "Don't Be a Fool - Identity Theft Awareness Year" and we would like your help!

What can you do? Contact your local city and schedule an "Deter, Detect, Defend" Day. You can order supplies and materials from the Federal Trade Commission and The Presidents Identity Task force to be delivered free to your community.

Together, we can reduce identity theft and create a better, safer tomorrow for everyone!
